Writing is an essential part of any author’s life. I write because I have to. It is in my blood. It calms my nerves, soothes my soul, and makes me a better person. It is essential to my life. It doesn’t matter what I am writing, an article, a short story, my Recognitions column at T-zero, my non-fiction worldbuilding book, or the novel I have been writing for the last 10 years.

I love creating characters, building towns, villages, cities, even worlds. I love fantasy and enjoy a good read. About 3 years ago I joined a wonderful on-line writing group called Writers’ Village University. There I interact with fellow writers, give and receive feedback on my writing, facilitate a Worldbuilding class, and just enjoy my life as a writer. I have met some wonderful people there. One of them is Donna Sundblad. We work as editors for the WVU’s ePress-online publishers. Together we edited a book and became fast friends.
